The experience

How it fits together

Four customer journeys, from a first reward to a personal Bundle, a Club allocation and the next goal.

September 5, 202610 min read
Product direction. Not a live offering.

Financial capabilities, provider access and coverage require separate approvals. Examples are illustrative, not promises of returns.

September 5, 2026. Proposed customer experience, not a claim of live access or approval. Amounts are hypothetical illustrations, not offers, fees or expected returns. Examples assume the required customer, provider and operating approvals.

The simple promise

Earn money. Build and trade your own tokenized-equity Bundles.

Find useful rewards and investing ideas in one place. Turn available money into assets you choose and own. Manage them yourself, or separately approve a trader to manage one allocation. Decide what money stays invested and what you take out.

Discover together. Own individually.

Teach only three product nouns:

  • Rewards: funded benefits you can use. A discount reduces spending; it is not cash received.
  • Bundles: groups of selected assets held for you in your disclosed customer account. Trading a Bundle buys or sells its holdings, not the account itself.
  • Clubs: communities for finding ideas. Some may offer separately approved managed strategies. Joining the community does not authorize a trader.

Harvest is the Use this money action beside available funds. It is not another account or a new way to earn.

The flywheel

Discover → Fund → Own → Use → Share → Discover

  1. Discover: useful offers, original community plans and eligible Club strategies bring people in.
  2. Fund: customers receive available rewards or add their own money through a supported route.
  3. Own: customers build, hold and trade their own Bundles. Managed trading is a separate choice.
  4. Use: clear results help customers decide to hold, add, sell, move available funds or withdraw.
  5. Share: customers may share useful plans, bringing new people who make their own choices.

This is a customer-value and growth hypothesis, not a guaranteed return cycle. People can start with investing, stop after earning a reward, never join a Club or never share anything. Market losses remain visible.

If useful experiences bring people back and attract new customers, Forage may become more valuable to merchants and creators. That can support more funded offers and service revenue. This link must be tested with actual customer use and collected revenue; audience size alone does not fund a reward.

After obligations, costs and reserves, Forage may choose to fund new programs from its own available money. New customer deposits never pay earlier reward or return promises. No protocol token is required to make this loop work.

Journey 1: a reward becomes a first Bundle

Maya wants a small start without learning a new trading terminal.

  1. In Explore, she finds an offer for a purchase she already intended to make. She reads the terms and completes the eligible purchase.
  2. Home shows $20 pending. Approval, return checks and merchant funding still have to complete. If the purchase is returned or rejected, the reward status explains why.
  3. When the reward is available, Maya taps Use this money. She chooses a personal Bundle and adds $80 of her own funds through the approved funding route.
  4. She selects eligible products, reviews the $100 purchase budget, account, fees, any cash remainder and settlement conditions, then confirms.
  5. After execution, Portfolio shows the actual holdings and remaining cash. If only some orders fill, Maya sees Partly complete with what filled, what is pending and the next step.

Her money summary separates $20 rewards earned, $80 added and $100 funded. Fees may reduce the amount invested. The app never claims she earned $100 or treats a pending reward as buying power. She could instead take the available reward through a permitted cash-out route without investing.

Behind the screen: Forage checks eligibility, reconciles reward funding, handles the approved transfer and creates the reviewed orders. It records each fill once. Account routing is automatic only when it does not change the terms Maya accepted.

Fun without pressure: an original trail stamp or collectible can mark the discovery. It does not improve returns, unlock trading power or require extra purchases.

Journey 2: a social idea becomes my own assets

Leo finds a creator's original meme-themed “Future Snacks” plan.

  1. In Explore, Leo sees the idea, its exact eligible products, risks and any sponsorship. The playful name is an identity, not a promise of returns.
  2. He taps Make it mine. This creates a private, unfunded draft. Nothing is bought.
  3. Leo changes the name and weights, chooses his amount and reviews the actual product rights, costs and orders.
  4. He confirms the purchase. His holdings appear in his disclosed customer account.
  5. Later, the creator changes their published plan. Leo sees an optional update to review; his holdings and permissions do not change.

From his Bundle he can Add, Sell part, Sell all eligible holdings or Rebalance. Selling coordinates the underlying orders and may leave blocked positions or residual cash. It does not sell his account or transfer ownership to the creator.

Behind the screen: Forage stores the shared plan version and Leo's own accepted version separately. It checks product availability without silently substituting a different issuer's token. The creator gets no access to his account. Private balances stay private unless Leo separately chooses a specific public snapshot.

The social loop: Leo can share his own plan, not his keys or live authority. Friends can discover it and make independent versions. Participation does not require referrals.

Journey 3: a trader manages one allocation

Asha wants expertise without handing a creator her whole portfolio.

  1. She joins a Club to read and discuss ideas. This grants no trading access.
  2. She chooses a separately approved managed strategy and reviews the named operator, actual record, permitted investments, risk, limits, fees and exit rules.
  3. She assigns $1,000 to a dedicated customer-owned managed account and signs a specific mandate. The confirmation explains that permitted trades can happen without asking her each time.
  4. The trader can trade within those limits. They cannot withdraw to themselves, change her account owner or recovery settings, add other delegates or touch her other Bundles. New instruments outside the approved list need renewed consent.
  5. Asha sees her actual holdings, costs and results, alongside the trader's record. She can request Stop trader access, keep the holdings, or separately request a sale and withdrawal.

No-withdrawal access does not prevent bad trades or market losses. Assets, venues, pricing and execution must also be controlled. A stop request reports its completion; already accepted orders and completed fills do not vanish.

Two alternative outcomes

These figures are after applicable investment fees, before personal taxes, and assume no other deposits, withdrawals or income. A holding's value is not automatically withdrawable cash.

Investment gainEligible investment loss
Starting customer allocation$1,000$1,000
Investment value after trading$1,100$700
Investment result+$100-$300
Approved loss-reserve payment$0$200
Combined customer value after payment$1,100$900
Result relative to the start+$100-$100

The loss example assumes an optional policy covers the loss, with $200 of separate, available trader collateral reserved for Asha for the stated period. The $200 enters her result only after an approved claim is paid. It is not trading profit and cannot earn the trader a performance fee. Without that coverage, her value would remain $700.

A conduct bond alone does not cover ordinary market loss. Even with the illustrated loss reserve, losing the full $1,000 would leave Asha with only $200 after a valid full-cap payment: an $800 loss. Coverage has exclusions, claim timing and collateral risk. A payout consumes the reserved cap; it does not renew protection automatically.

Behind the screen: Asha's trading allocation, the trader's execution authority, any approved fee collection and the independent collateral reservation are separate. Customer money is not pooled into a Club wallet. Reservations cannot be copied across customers or chains.

The trust loop: traders build an inspectable record that includes losses, costs, drawdowns and conduct. Honest records help customers compare services; popularity never grants more authority.

Journey 4: use proceeds for the next goal

Noah wants to move some existing money into a long-term Bundle.

  1. Noah has $400 in settled proceeds from an external crypto sale. Forage does not claim to execute that external trade in this example.
  2. Where an approved funding route supports it, he selects Use this money and chooses $100 for his long-term Bundle. The other $300 stays outside Forage.
  3. He reviews the funding source, destination, any conversion, costs and the proposed purchase. He confirms the necessary transfer and order authorizations.
  4. Forage shows progress until funds arrive and orders complete. Noah sees the resulting holdings and any cash remainder.

The record says $100 funded, not $100 earned. The $400 sale proceeds include original capital. Without reliable cost basis, Forage cannot say how much was profit.

Received, available dividends or eligible income could be another source for this same action. Income may accrue daily without being paid daily, and investment values and rates can fall. Reinvesting money never counts it as earned a second time.

Behind the screen: Forage checks the approved route, source, destination, costs and settlement. It does not use its operating treasury as a shortcut. Later automatic routing needs its own separate permission; a Club trader cannot silently refill their allocation from Noah's other funds.

One app, not a stack of tools

ScreenCustomer questionWhat belongs here
HomeWhat money did I earn, and how are my investments doing?Available and pending rewards, received income, investment gains or losses, fees and usable cash
ExploreWhat is worth looking at?Useful offers, optional trails, shared plans and eligible Clubs
PortfolioWhat do I own, and what can I do with it?Actual holdings, self-directed Bundles, clearly labeled managed allocations, buy/sell and access controls

Keep Use this money close to eligible available funds. Keep Stop trader access close to each managed allocation. Put chain routing and transaction detail behind Details, not in the normal path. Never hide fees, custody, product rights, permission scope or material risk there.

AI can explain terms, help draft a customer's requested plan and simulate outcomes. It does not gain a trader's discretion or sign new authority. Customers should not need a chain selector or a session-key form.

In the later multichain design, one Portfolio can show holdings across supported networks. Each real position still exists in its actual account. Mirrors coordinate bounded permissions and budgets; they do not duplicate assets, protection or spending power. If routing changes product rights, economics or material risks, Forage asks instead of silently switching. A delayed route remains pending, and a partial fill remains partial.

What we should prove first

The smallest complete financial experience is: earn available value → buy a personal Bundle → hold or trade it → withdraw eligible settled proceeds. Shopping is an entry point, not a requirement for investing.

Add reviewed plan sharing and manual Harvest as their routes pass review. Managed Clubs, trader fees and loss reserves are part of the accepted product direction but need separate operating, provider, security and claims approval. Broader mirrors and automation follow their own tests. These examples define the intended experience, not a launch promise.

Measure usable rewards, clear net outcomes, successful purchases and exits, fulfilled claims and sustainable collected revenue. Do not optimize only for clicks, deposits or trading frequency.

Sources and presentation scope

This guide illustrates existing planning decisions. It does not grant new product permissions or replace the detailed specifications.

The graphic uses the how-it-works poster and circular-flow patterns from the aiz-infographic skill, with a clean, moss-and-cream publication theme. Its arrows show an optional product-value loop, not asset transfers or a promised return cycle.
